Attain Assets - Grow your own wealth
Frequently asked questions:

How is my money protected?
Your money will be kept in a high street bank account until it is used to pay for assets, with a small proportion held back to cover costs and emergency pay-outs.

The management team are required to contribute their own money to Attain in order to ensure that they do their utmost best for the whole group.

You will receive a copy of the annual audited accounts at the end of each year, as well as your personal statement. If you are part of a "circle" or group, there will be one statement issued to the circle.
We are seeking relevant regulation with the Financial Services Authority (FSA). By submitting to regulation, we achieve greater security for our money. We aim to complete this process once we are fully operational.

Your Attain introductory pack contains two booklets on budgeting and saving and investing from the FSA’s Money Made Clear Team. We highly recommend that you read them. We stock another FSA booklet which covers Debt, do let us know if you would like to receive a copy.

If you wish to take part but are not able to contribute the minimum amount, we can arrange for you to join a Credit Union, where you can start saving from as little as £1. If you would like to start this way, please click here.

Caution! This is the small print, (but not at the bottom of the page).
Attain will operate on a medium to long-term basis, that is a minimum of 2-3 years.  If you think you will need your money before this time, it is best not to join us now. The main type of asset we will be working with is property, and during the current period property prices are relatively low, so it is likely that we will be buying rather than selling property, and keeping it for a while. So your money will be tied up for at least 2 to 3 years.

What if I want my money back?
If you wish to leave Attain, you can do so by giving one month’s notice.
If at the time you give notice there are other people on our waiting list, your contribution will be refunded to you in full, and your place given to the next person on the waiting list, who will take your place as if they had started the investment.
Attain will also reserve a small percentage of monies received to cover emergency payouts. If there is no-one on the waiting list and the emergency fund has already been used, you will not receive a refund until there is enough income to repay the original amount you put in or the property is sold, whichever occurs first.
Please note that the joining fee is not refundable.,
